Winemakers enjoy Obama’s presence
After 8 years of George W. Bush, President Obama was elected into office. Bush didn’t drink alcohol at all and had been off for 20 years, reports Reuters. Obama, on the other hand, loves some fine wine. This made many people excited.
Winemakers rejoice
The winemakers were really excited that Obama drank wine. It would help boost business quite a bit. In fact, business was bound to go up once the President of the United States was drinking it again. The only thing that these companies had to do was get President Obama drinking their wine as a sort of endorsement. That wasn’t something any of them were really able to do although a lot of people are making money off of the Obama venture now.
The Obama Wine glass
You might want to try the Barack Obama wine glass. You can buy it at VictoryStore.com for $17 if you only want one. They get cheaper for larger orders. It features a picture of President Obama on a wine glass. You can fill the glass up with up to 10 oz. of wine at a time. They take two or three days to ship, so buy it early if you want to get it for a special event. The matched sets look great at a political fundraiser or party at home.
Put some Obama wine in the glass
Add to that glass some Obama wine created by Angela Bousquet-Keita from Africa celebrating the first African American man to become President of America, says Spiegel Online. To buy three bottles of wine, a person would have to pay $198. Her plan was to give it to President Obama as a gift when he visits France again. The only problem is that President Obama doesn’t approve of this wine idea. According to Mary Ann Akers at The Washington Post, the White House doesn’t believe that the president’s fame should be used to help other people make some money. Still, you may want to try it for your Obama party with the right glasses and the right wine.
